The Swedish design studio provides new life to fishing nets. Combined with wood fibers, an FSC-certified recycled by-product of the sawmill business, this bio-composite materials is reworked, because of the wonders of 3D printing, into beautiful seating.

Along with being virtuous, the Kelp Collection is filled with poetry. Indeed, the undulating strains recommend the organic silhouette of the crops that cover the oceans, including Kelps.

This species of seaweed is the sufferer of unsustainable fishing practices and rising ocean temperatures.

Originally designed for cooks Niclas Jönsson and Daniel Höglander, who needed custom-made furnishings for his or her sushi restaurant in Stockholm, the chairs could be floor into bio-materials and reused to create new objects.
