Formerly Morland Mixité Capitale, La Félicité is the results of a titanic worksite lasting almost six years. Winner of “Réinventer Paris” in 2016, the developer, Emerige, is taking the reins of this challenge, with a purpose to rehabilitate the previous administrative website on Boulevard Morland. The important thing word? Combined-use. To create a multi-use dwelling area open to the public. David Chipperfield Architects and the architectural firm CALQ are entrusted with the undertaking.
The La Félicité building-district was inaugurated and unveiled its program in June. The building retains its unique modernist structure, however opens up to life and is provided with vegetation in the cloister and on the roof. Here, individuals reside in social housing, the starred lodge SO/ Paris or the youth hostel The Individuals Paris Marais. Individuals come right here to work and to shop.
