The gathering was launched on the Loewe web site on January 7 in honor of the late director Hayao Miyazaki. Their collaboration is inspired by his movie Spirited Away (Chihiro’s Journey). Jonathan Anderson, Loewe’s artistic director, describes the collection as “an ode to loyalty as well as friendship.” The designer features the primary characters of the 2001 animated movie, corresponding to Chihiro Ogino, No-Face, Boh, and lots of others. Hoodies, shirts, and wallets are adorned with these animated characters. The stitching methods are based mostly on Japanese methods generally known as “boro.”  This consists in dyeing scraps of cloth with indigo and assembling them in patchwork to make an intarsia of Kasuri textiles. As well as, on November eight, 2021, the posh home dedicated to sponsoring the Tokuma Memorial Cultural Basis for Animation for 3 years. Loewe also helps the Ghibli Museum in Japan.
