Inventive director Julien Dossena, who took over the reins of the posh brand in 2013, lately inaugurated the new 153-meter Paco Rabanne store2 on the corner of Avenue Montaigne and Rue François-Ier. The flagship was inspired by the futuristic world of its founder: orange carpeting and lamé curtains recall the contours of a flying saucer in addition to the designer’s iconic items.

A universe that has been unique to the house since its founding in 1966. The collections, skirts, and clothes in brass are highlighted by a set of illuminated aluminum cabinets and racks. The boutique was designed by Dutch architect Sabine Marcelis, who combined pastel colors, marble, concrete, and silver furniture. An adjoining room homes archives and classic clothing; previous, present, and reminiscences are intertwined.
