A tutelary determine of structure who not needs to be launched, Le Corbusier saw his work immortalized in his time by the medium of images. Even at this time, pictures from the time of the construction of some of these buildings are used as an example his achievements. The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich proposes to vary our notion of them by inviting seven photographers to revisit as many buildings designed by the good master. The program for this new household portrait consists of the villa “Le Lac,” the small home that Le Corbusier built for his mother and father on the shores of Lake Geneva, the villa Savoye in Poissy, the Unité d’habitation in Marseille, and the Cabanon in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.
