The patterned glass and metal create this opaque appearance, also allowing the building to vary hues: pristine white in daylight, vaporous on cloudy days, frosted underneath sure lights. The architects additionally play with the metaphor of water: from the liquid of a lake to the strong physique of ice, by way of the nebulous and diaphanous environment of the landscape.
