From June three to November 20, 2022, Hollywood is on show in Berlin! In this extremely anticipated exhibition, the Helmut Newton Basis will trace 100 years of the history of the movie theater via interval pictures. Alongside the grasp of style and movie images, the work of artists corresponding to Ruth Harriet Louise, Eve Arnold, Larry Sultan, Steve Schapiro, and Annie Leibovitz will probably be shown. All have immortalized Hollywood in their own approach. Portraits of stars, pictures of the sets, photographs of giant villas: nothing escapes the sharp eye of those modern artists who have contributed to forging the glamorous picture of Hollywood within the collective unconscious.
