Lately, the Côte d’Azur has seen the emergence of latest addresses that convey back the appeal of the French Riviera’s past. A mild, native way of life, removed from the bling of current tourism. La Tartane is an ode to this return to simplicity.

Between the village and the mythical beaches of Saint-Tropez, lies this seaside lodge reworked by Jordane Arrivetz, founding father of the Notoire agency. Like a Provencal hamlet, the establishment consists of small houses with 27 rooms surrounded by a garden with Mediterranean scents. The interior decoration reflects the surroundings: warm and natural. Wood, stone and rattan are within the highlight and have fun the craftsmanship of the area. Wall murals, designed by Brazilian artist João Incerti, poetically complete the design of every area. With custom-made furniture or objects discovered by antique vendor Julie Barrau, the place rightly combines the spirit of a household house with the providers of a five-star lodge. The identical goes for Saint-Amour, the restaurant. Open to the sky, subsequent to the swimming pool, it extends the Mediterranean artwork of dwelling with, on the menu, Provencal cuisine with Asian touches by the chef, Grasp Koy.

With magnificence and ease, the La Tartane lodge brings a breath of recent air to the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
