Commissioned by Sparks to redefine its new assembly rooms, Cobra Studio was capable of infuse its richly contrasting world on a limited finances with out going towards the fashion of this iconic Art Deco constructing within the Belgian capital.

To design the 2,500 m2 area, which includes ten assembly rooms, a foyer, and a bar-restaurant, Cobra Studios chose to combine the original supplies still current within the building, corresponding to travertine, marble, and concrete, with trendy materials, akin to latex, clay, chrome steel, foam, resin, velvet, and aluminum. The duo has also created a collection of furnishings, including chairs, tables, lamps, sofas, and curtains to fit the area, combined with parts from their collection.

Based mostly in Brussels, Kenny Decommer and Hugues Delaunay depend on a language near postmodernism. Kenny Decommer is a former architect who educated in Paris, whereas Hugues Delaunay focuses on visible id and has worked for a number of main luxury homes. The duo seeks to design minimalist, yet highly ornamental, designs that stand the check of time and inventive actions.
